Are you looking to make a difference in a child's life? Become a foster carer in Milton Keynes with Fostering Options.
Futures For Children is an Independent Fostering Agency which was established in 1999 and began with two Social Workers, both of whom had been Foster Carers, who decided to offer a better service than other Independent Agencies and Local Authorities were providing.
In 2013, Fostering Options, which was established in 2002, sold to Futures for Children to become part of the Futures Group. The Fostering Options office is based in Milton Keynes, where it was originally located in 2003.

Fostering Options provides fostering placements for children and young people who will have experienced trauma in their lives, either through neglect, physical injury, emotional, physical and/or sexual abuse. We acknowledge that these young people are often overwhelmed by these events and are unable to find appropriate ways of dealing with them, which will inevitably present a wide range of behaviours.
There are many reasons why a child or young person might come into care. Whether it be illness within the family, a family breakdown, drug or alcohol abuse in the home, or sadly due to physical, emotional or physical abuse and neglect.
It is this reason that children and young people in care sometimes present challenging behaviour. However, you will receive free comprehensive and professional training and 24/7 support from our team of experienced Social Workers, so you will never have to face anything alone. With your care and guidance, these children will receive a second chance in life.
Our Foster Carers are a group of fabulously varied people, there is no ‘perfect’ person we look for. There are many misconceptions around becoming a Foster Carer. The truth is, you can foster a child or young person whether you're married or single, no matter your race, religion, gender or sexuality. Whether you are a homeowner or renting, have children of your own or no experience at all!
The only thing you need to be considered to start your fostering journey is, to be over the age of 25, have a spare bedroom and the space in your heart to love a foster child. Most children in care lack the positive family experience that most of their peers would have, but all it takes is one person, a person like you, to make a difference.
Start your fostering journey with us today.
